Rev. Bill Johnson

Rev. Bill Johnson was born and raised in Poplar Bluff, MO. He and his wife Lois were raised in the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Rev. Johnson graduated from St. Louis Christian College in 1974, attended Lincoln Christian Seminary and graduated from Phillips University Seminary in 1983 with a Master of Divinity Degree. He has served churches in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Rev. Johnson has been with the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Great Bend, KS, since November of 1986. The Johnson's son Eric and wife Audrey have two children, Derek and Courtney.

 

Kelli Frazier

I am happily married to my wonderful husband Justin. We met as youth ministers in 2005 and we
were married May 17, 2008 in Fort Worth Texas. Our family consists of the two of us, our
chocolate Labrador, Cubby, and our cat, Gandalf.

I grew up in Katy, TX, a suburb just west of Houston. I moved to Fort Worth, TX in 2004 to
attend Texas Christian University (Go Horned Frogs!) where I received my B.A. in Religious
Studies with a minor in Social Work.

I enjoy working with youth and children, but most of all I enjoy facilitating/creating a
family environment within the church congregation. I miss Texas, but Kansas has quickly become
a second home to me.

 

Justin Frazier

Greetings and Blessings! I am a bred and born native Texan, but lived for
a short while in Moore, Oklahoma. My family returned to the Fort Worth,
Texas area in 1995. I have worked in youth ministry since 2002, and love
the joys that come from watching young people grow spirtitually in the
church.

I am very happily married to my wife Kelli(pictured above), and look
forward to sharing many more wonderful years together. This is our first
time working together for the same church, and it has been a true
blessing.

In agreeance with my wife, though I do miss family in Texas, Great Bend,
Kansas has fast become a new home for me. I love the atmosphere here, and
hope that I can soon meet you and call you my friend.

 

Kathy Rose

I'm married to Marvin Rose. We are a blended family with 7 children ranging in age from 12 years to 27 years,  1 - 4 year old granddaughter and 1 grandson who is due in December. I started working for the church in July of 1999 as the custodian. In 2007, I was promoted to the church secretary. I enjoyed working for the congregation as their custodian, but I love my job as secretary! I feel as though the people here are my "extended" family. When I got the job in 1999, I felt like this was home. God knew exactly where I needed to be! And He was right!
